Uani is an elevated womens basics brand, improving the way women experience everyday clothing. Uani clothing is designed around thoughtful fit, quality fabrics and timeless simplicity.

We started with the Tshirt. Quality, minimalist, and designed specifically for African womens bodies.

Uani was founded by Nnennaya, a Nigerian woman who got tired of the gap between what was available and what African women actually deserved. Every decision- the fabric, the fit, the cut, the packaging is made with intention. We call it slow fashion. We think of it as respect.

Our t-shirts are made for the woman who is building something intentional with her life and wants her wardrobe to reflect that. Some days, she shows up unapologetically loud. Other days, she pauses. Both days, her clothes are a reflection of her confidence, her self-awareness, and her love for life's beauty. She is not chasing trends. She knows what she wants.

Where we are going.

Uani launched in Nigeria with a simple goal: to make the best womens basic Tshirt on the continent. We are building toward something intercontinental and eventually global.
